Speaking of betas, I've managed to get the latest Beta build of Windows Vista from a Microsoft Technet seminar (thanks Graham!). Do I risk installing it on my desktop or laptop? It comes on 2 DVD's (one for x86 systems and the other for 64bit systems). I did have a copy of an early build quite some time ago (shortly after it had renamed from Longhorn to Vista), but it wasn't that stable and made my laptop almost unusable.
Hmmmmmm...
Good move - I can save my credit and hassle you here once more! hehehe
ReplyDeleteNot sure if you know, but you can host the Blogger files elsewhere you know - I used to host mine, but it slowed the page down a bit. It's in the settings somewhere, but dont think it's for Beta yet.
As for Vista, Greg has been playing with it in Brunei, and Peter has been messing with it. Both complain that it's "Security Feature" is getting you to confirm Every Bloody Step Or Access To The Web. Everytime. It's like a school kid asking to go to the loo every three minutes.
I'd backup the laptop and put it on there :)
Very purdy :) Kudos.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I saw the quote. Never remember what it's from, but always think of school lunchtimes!
