TEST DRIVE: DRIVE FIVE OF THE WORLD'S MOST EXOTIC CARS!
The Lamborghini Countach looks fast standing still. But before you attempt to break the land speed record, it might be wise to get a handle on what you're in for. Test Drive provides you with a detailed "spec chart" on each of the five cars, listing their vital statistics. Please note that this road shark has a top speed of 173 mph. (Gulp) Maybe you'd like to start off a bit slower.
Watch the road signs zip past your windshield. Test Drive's fluid animation fills you with a thrilling rush of speed. Feast your eyes on the 911's dashboard. Test Drive's graphics are so true-to-life you'll swear you can smell the leather interior. Push the 911 into the turn. Feel it suck the road like a vacuum. Your radar detector is clean... but check the speedometer. The fuzz ain't friendly in these parts.
How about the Porsche 911 Turbo? Sure, it's quick (zero to 60 in five seconds flat) but it forged its reputation with precise response and handling. After reviewing the specs, it's time to get down to business. Fire up the 911 and push it to the limit on any of Test Drive's challenging road scenarios. For example, if you'd like to find out if the 911's handling is all that it's cracked up to be, select a winding mountain road.

You're sitting on 750 cc's of screaming machine, chrome and pistons ready for the course. It's you and your cycle against the road, the curves, the other motorcycles and the clock. Hot rubber on hot streets as you scream to victory.
Racing was never so fast and furious.
It takes split second timing. You must know when to cut, when to speed up, when to brake. Hesitate, and there's no way you'll win. Act rashly, and you crash.
You race through progressively harder courses. Finish successfully, and you get to try the next one. But don't push your machine too far. Keep your eye on the instruments. Push it to the limit, and you win. Push it over, and you crash.

The era and time of this story is unknown. After the mothership "Arkanoid" was destroyed, a spacecraft "Vaus" scrambled away, only to be trapped in the void...
You control the Vaus and have to penetrate 32 levels and then confront the "Dimension Changer" whom you must destroy in order to reverse time and resurrect the "Arkanoid". Frantic action and split-second timing combine to produce the most addictive and compulsive game.

Air-Sea War
You will need timing and accuracy for this game as you shoot down the enemy craft while dodging its missiles. Score a point for each direct hit on your opponent's craft, and deduct one if you hit a neutral ship. You have 3 minutes to play. When the game is over (time = 00:00) the player with the most points wins.
Battle
Battle demands great skill in handling the controls of the tank, especially when turning and firing. You have 20 rounds. Score a point for each direct hit. There are 3 minutes to play : when game is over (time = 00:00 or both players out of ammunition), the player with the most points wins. Variations of this game are given by : guided missiles (controlled by joystick), minefield (mines marked by a white cross) - your opponent gains a point each mine you hit, and hilly terrain (you cannot fire or move through the barriers).

Spin-out
Key 2 selects 3-lap racetrack, key 3 selects 15-lap racetrack. Race your opponent round the corners and barriers of the Spin0out circuit. There is a time penalty for crashing or spinning the car. You have a choice of slow or fast speeds, and basic or complex racetracks.
Cryptogram
A game of knowledge and deduction. Type a word or phrase onto TV screen (don't let your opponent see it). The letters of the phrase are then jumbled up, and your opponent must unscramble them (each correct letter remains on screen). The screen shows the number of mistakes made. The player who makes least mistakes wins.
